I’ve enjoyed taking the odd look at Twistori for a while now, and it turns out that I’m fascinated by knowing what people love and hate at a glance, yet I yearn for some way I could apply this to any digital work that I do. Apart from using it as a cool (albeit slightly dodgy) screensaver for everyone to see while I’m away from my computer, I think it could have some really interesting applications to digital marketing, PR and political research.
It would be fantastic to see where these opinions were coming from - to see which country loves and hates the most, which city is the most aspirational or which content has the most wishful thinking. Also, it would be really interesting to search by topic or issue to see what the opinions on them are at a glance.
The developers of Twistori have mentioned that this is “the first step” in their social experiment so hopefully we’ll expect to see some more features to the website soon - but in the meantime, go take a look and drift off into a whole new world of nosiness!

Given that I’m currently in the styx in deepest Zambia, about to be in even deeper styx in Tanzania, I also have no idea what to do with Twistori, or, to be honest, any concept of what it is. Nonetheless just posting here to see ho things are going, enjoying browsing the posts now and again to keep me up to speed with the West. Take it easy mate, stay in touch. Shove an email my way if you got a couple of weeks out next year to do Oz come and crash in Melbourne, we’ll drive the place!
